Long Lasting Makeup

Long Lasting Makeup – Learn the Right Trick and Play it Safe
long lasting makeup
Over the years make up have played a very crucial role in enhancing the beauty of females. Make ups play an important role in camouflaging or hiding the skin disorder, imperfection or blemishes. But for people having to do with hectic and tight schedule, bad environmental conditions, busy lifestyle and other factors it becomes extremely difficult for them to handle heavy make ups. It can get really irritating and embarrassing when you have a situation where your mascara is running or your lip color just wears off. This is irritating and hence must be addressed with proper planning tips for the usage of the make up kits. There are certain tips that can be followed for your make up to last long.
The initial step towards a proper make up schedule should be about preparing the skin carefully. Well this is essential procedure as you would know that preparing the skin properly before the make up is essential as it helps to make skin look good, keeps it fresh and also helps to keep the make for long. So before anything you should look to clean your skin with a cleanser and make it ready for the long-lasting make up.
After the cleansing processes apply foundation that is good for your skin surface otherwise any random foundation can cause rashes to your skin. Proper foundation is thus necessary prior to the long lasting make up.
long lasting makeup tips
All women love to look beautiful, sexy and attractive and the best way to get that look is by beautifying your eye. A dramatic change in your looks can be achieved through your eyes. This can be done by using a proper eye liner or a pencil. It must be mentioned here that liquid eye liners are far more effective than the pencil eye liner and hence you must look to use them for the purpose of keeping it long. The process of using an eye liner is easy and does not require special skills. But before doing that do remember that to prevent smudging apply little powder in your eye lids.

The case of running mascara can be really annoying and can turn out to be a dreadful experience. This is an issue that can be solved by using waterproof mascara. The mascara should cover the entire face but not with overloading sensation.
And at the end a perfect lipstick is the key to make your entire make up look good. The color in this case is very essential. Use a good quality lipstick and not the one that gets vanished easily

Men's Guide to Layering

mens-layering-jcrew_112910

Proper layering is absolutely foundational to a man’s style.  Whether you live in snowy Boston or sunny Miami, whether it’s the peak of summer or the valley of winter, the principles of layering will help you craft the right look for whatever your day brings you.  Presenting our five golden rules for layering:

Rule 1: Keep the First Layer Slim
Let’s face it: layering can be bulky.  But it doesn’t have to look that way.  How do you add layers without adding bulk?  Keep the first layer slim - in terms of both material and fit.  Your base layer should consist of thin fabrics that fit somewhat snugly; that way, other layers can fit on top without creating layers of bulk.

Rule 2: Mix Up the Length of Your Layers
When you’re layering, each piece on each layer has a purpose.  And for the most part, you want the layers to be visible, as this creates a more visually interesting look.  How do you make sure that each layer is visible?  Vary the length of each layer, so that each layer can be seen.  For example, if you have a tee shirt, a button-down shirt, and a sweater, let the tails of the button-down be seen from underneath the sweater.  And let the tee peek out from under the button-down.

Rule 3: Play with Textures
Women can play with silhouette when layering, but for men, the best bet is to play with texture.  Especially when creating monochromatic or duochromatic looks, a little texture goes a long way.  Pair a chunky knit with a smooth jersey - or a cozy thin knit sweater with a rough corduroy pant.  A little fabric juxtaposition can really make your look.

Rule 4: Don’t Be Afraid to Experiment with Color
Even if your wardrobe is dominated by blues, greys, and blacks, you don’t have to limit yourself to these colors.  And the easiest, least risky way to add color to your wardrobe is through layering.  You don’t have to gamble nearly as much on that blood orange sweater when it’s an ensemble player in your look instead of the star.  We love it when a bit of color peeks out from under a jacket lapel - or sweater - or even from between your pant leg and shoe with an arresting pair of socks.

Rule 5: Add an Element of Surprise

No great look is complete without that je ne sais quoi - that element that makes it uniquely you.  Maybe it’s the hint of a purple sweater peeking out from underneath your navy blazer.  Maybe it’s a well-placed handkerchief in your jacket pocket.  Maybe it’s a motorcycle boot that you paired with your trouser pants.  Whatever it is, this element of surprise is what makes your look your own.

Burberry Platform Peep Toe Bootie on a Budget

Burberry Platform Peep Toe Bootie on a Budget

On the left is a Burberry’s magnificent Platform Peep Toe Bootie - the very same ones seen not only on the runways as part of the S/S 2009 Collection, but on the pretty paws of Emma Roberts, Ashley Tisdale, and Saoirse Ronan, as well; to your right you will spot Bumper’s bombastic Delle-04 Strappy Peep Toe Bootie.
Though the Bumper's are constructed out of a mix of lycra and leatherette materials, as opposed to the true leather construction of the Burberry's; for a mere $27.90, as opposed to the $850.00 needed to take the fabulous Burberry’s for a spin, they are every bit as capable of adding a dash of haute couture to your person – at a price that doesn’t break the bank!

So ladies…will you be a big spender and go for Burberry, or be thrifty and spring for Bumper?

Audrey Hepburn fashion icon..

Figuring out how to dress like Audrey Hepburn is actually pretty simple. For as much of a style icon that she was, her appearance was classically elegant. There were very few frills attached to her way of dress or accessories. Keeping it simple, classy and timeless is the key to attaining this fashion icon look.

Wardrobe: No one can think of the starlet and not picture the little black dress that help seal her fame. She made this a standard in a woman's closet across the world, where before black was mainly thought about in only mourning terms. Don't make the mistake of going to revealing though. Her type of sex appeal was not about showing it off. The key here is to make sure that it fits well and is classy in design.

Accessories: Keep them simple and classical too. Another timeless piece brought to light by this fashion symbol, is that a good string of pearl's is a must for any woman's jewelry chest. They can make an elegant statement with cocktail gowns or with a blouse and a pair of jeans as well.

Hair: When thinking about how to dress like Audrey Hepburn, she is best known for her short pixie type haircut; though she also, at times, wore it a little longer than shoulder length as well. If you are wanting to copy this style icon's appearance but do not want to grab the scissors, simply put your hair up in an elegant up-do. Make sure to finish it off with a hair accessory to keep it in place. An often overlooked great place to find ones made with elegant pearls or sparkles (for a true Breakfast at Tiffany's) look, is by checking out local bridal shops.

Makeup: When wanting to know how to dress like Audrey Hepburn in terms of makeup, it is best to go the minimal route. Simply even out your skin tone using a good foundation and concealer. Put on a couple coats of mascara and finish it off with a dramatic lip color- like a deep red. This style icon helped to create the cosmetic rule of playing one feature up at a time in order to avoid a painted look.

Using these tips will ensure that you capture this fashion symbol's timeless look. Learning how to dress like Audrey Hepburn is the easy part; gaining her classiness and brightness that lit up a room every time she walked in , is another story..

Iconic-2.55-Chanel-Bag

Iconic 2.55 Chanel Bag: Every fashionista knows that 2.55 Chanel bag is an iconic piece. It costs a fortune but is definitely worth investing into, because carrying it shows the world that you are where you want to be in life.2.55 Chanel bag was first created by a legendary designer Coco Chanel in February, 1955 (2.55 stands for the date the bag was introduced to the public). It looked pretty the same as it looks now – a quilted rectangular bag with a chain shoulder strap. It featured a cute Mademoiselle lock and Chanel logo which is overlapping C, one looking forward and another backwards (two Cs are Coco Chancel initials).
Coco Chanel explained that she wanted no more clutches that she used to lose too often. So, the new bag was a brilliant creation that was comfortable to wear and pleasant to look at.
Each bag was hand-crafted by Coco’s skilled artisans. In the first year after the Chanel bag was presented to the public Coco had to decline numerous requests for the bags because her team couldn’t manufacture so many pieces no matter how hard they worked.
The first 2.55 Chanel bag was black because it was Coco Chanel’s favorite color, but soon other hues followed. Besides, bags started to be made of jersey, silk and even crocodile skin.
Chanel bags of today still exemplify Coco Chanel’s simple lines and functionality. They are a classic that will never go out of fashion.
